This Contact Improvisation class explores partnering, somatic tools, contemporary dance, and martial arts to expand your movement vocabulary. Through somatic starting points, we learn to move sustainably, especially when shifting levels or receiving weight, to avoid unnecessary injuries. We’ll pay attention to how we enter and exit contact, communicate consent and boundaries, and offer or ask for support. From there, we can safely explore playfulness, falling and catching, momentum, off-balance, and impact. Sessions include both improvisation and simple set patterns to practise new principles progressively.
This is an open-level class, welcoming movers of all backgrounds. Whether you’re new to Contact Improvisation or already have experience in dance or other movement practices, you’ll be guided safely through exploration, connection, and creative flow.
Please wear long pants and a top with sleeves for safe floorwork, and bring water to stay hydrated. Each class ends with 30 minutes of jamming, exploration, or discussion.
Unwind. Move. Come back to you. Evening Flow is a 55-minute yoga practice designed to ease tension, calm the mind, and gently recharge your body for a restful night. We begin with gentle warm-ups, flow into a slow and intentional sequence to open the body, and end with deep stretches and guided relaxation. This isn’t just a stretch, it’s a moving meditation that helps you slow down, reconnect, and release the day. Through mindful movement, you’ll leave class feeling lighter, calmer, and more at ease, body, mind, and soul.
This is an open-level class, welcoming everyone from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
Please bring comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Practicing barefoot is recommended, and yoga mats are available at the studio.
Hip Hop is all about foundation, groove, and personal expression. In this class, we’ll train techniques, grooves, and musicality through both freestyle exercises and choreography, while also exploring the history of hip hop culture to deepen your understanding of the dance. Each session gives you tools and concepts to challenge your creativity, expand your movement, and develop your own unique style.
This class is perfect for beginners! No experience needed, you’ll learn the basics step by step in a fun and supportive environment. Come ready to move, groove, and build confidence while expressing yourself.
Comfortable street-style clothing and indoor sneakers are recommended.
